i hate when people hate on eloise for being mean and unpleasant to her friends and family. first of she is snippy at best second that woman is trapped and her cage keeps getting smaller and smaller and she keeps getting more lonely. with no end in sight too. we know she'll get her happy ending because the books are out and they want a season for every bridgerton most likely. eloise doesn't know that so it makes sense that she acts accordingly. she has no one to confide into and no one to understand her. her brothers can do what they want and not get married until their 30s or even later ,all her sisters and friends either got married or they want to .she doesn't want that and not only is she not given the opportunity to do anything else she has to basically fight for her right to just not marry .and it is clear that she wants to do so much. so she's going to be miserable about her situation and her future obviously

i feel like elena doesn't have a term like dissolving margins because for her there never were any margins in the first place ,everything had always been out of place and reality and her view of it where always mixing .she has her own warped sense of things so she always feels put out of place and stuck wherever she is

idk i just think the whole scene with benedict and sophie on the stairs is needed for his characther arc not just for him to realize how dumb and demeaning that was to sophie but also for him to stop being afraid and step out of the cycle. benedict has through out the past seasons always felt different from the rest of his peers and like he doesn't belong in the society he was born into. he keeps wanting things that are forbidden and shunned from the world he lives in ,and he cannot supress something innate to him so he lives in hiding, in shadows. he has expressed his personality in secret. everything about him that is under the surface lives in shadows and nooks away from his world. so for him to ask sofie to be his mistress is also him trying to get what he wants in the way he always has before. part of it is ignorance and his position allowing him a more cavalier outlook but it is also him expressing himself in the way he learned is exceptable. he has to realize he cannot live in shadows himself along with realizing sophie does not deserve it either. they are both people who have had to supress or find inovative ways of expressing their true personalities thanks to the worlds that they have to be in. they are both living half lives or half truths

also i can't see it said anywhere but i just love how taffy was genuine and honest and tried to help lisa even thought they are polar opposites and it was probably hard for her to understand lisa but she stuck up for her at home and in school and cared about her honestly

i think when people around lila said that "lila has something bad in her, some force that destroys people " and how when she married stefano and he acted the way he did ,she worried that they were right and there was something wrong with her i think that while lila was incredibly ambitious she loved the work /the journey towards the goal more than the destination while everyone else couldn't wait to get to the destination ,she was in love with the process and learning and never wanted to leave that place because there is always something more to do. surraounded by people who were in love with greed and who wanted more and more and didn't care how they got it ,lila always wanted more but she cared so much about how she would get there
