Does a cat's first (or any) piece of jewelry NEED to be made of the stone they're named after? Or can they ask for it to be something else? (am curious if Moonstone would ask for a sunstone piece at some point as a memento to Sunstonepaw)

Typically it is, the jewelry is made before their apprenticeship is over, but cats can also make their own jewelry whenever they want

Sunstonepaw’s piece was done before he died and is currently at his grave marker (though moonstone will take it to wear it alongside her own) . She is wearing it in the intersex pride art I made a couple days ago
