Okay, so, this is gonna be really weird, but

One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich is just, man, it’s up there.

I dunno, the writing is just so digestable, and, I dunno, I can just relate to it sorta? (In the “A day full of hard work, only to go back to cramped, uncomfortable living quarters with bad food”), I just really love it, and it’s something I plop down and finish in about an hour or two. Great book!
