do u think your friends would be ok with u playing around a bit with pronouns? maybe that might help u figure stuff out? i asked a few people to call me by certain pronouns for a while so i could see how i felt about them & it did help a little!

hiiii so i see you post a little bit about japanese indie bands and i was wondering if there was any good songs/bands you can recommend? =)

oooo yes!! i post too much about them sometimes lmao

bands:

andymori (cute cute cute band!!! they sadly disgrouped(??) last year but they're super cool. indie rock)

Galileo Galilei (usually cheery tunes, with rock and i think electronica stuff)

White Ash (pretty loud indie rock -- the vocalist has a really good voice)

RADWIMPS (they go from cheery happy love songs to dark stuff or political commentary very quickly.)

Kenshi Yonezu (a.k.a. Hachi as a VOCALOID producer)

SEKAI NO OWARI (more pop-y than the other ones i listed, but very good still!)(also tw: clowns bc one of the members has a clown mask or s/thing all the time)

Merengue (メレンゲ) (SOOOO cute i really recommend this band!!! idk if there are any lyric translations out there but i love Merengue so muc h.,,,)

THE NOVEMBERS (shoegaze-y; i think they're currently starting to gain fame but yea)

Kinoko Teikoku (dark and sad shoegaze i think. tbh it's hard to hear what's being sung sometimes, but i still really like them, music wise)

Lyu:Lyu (i think the vocalist is VOCALOID producer nano -- i really like their music but their stuff is really sad too and tw self harm for at least a few)
