Double Date at Mooon Cafe

During Valentine's Day, as I'd mentioned here in the last post, my second parents (a.k.a. my boyfriend's family), my boyfriend, and I had our dinner date at Mooon Cafe, SM City Cebu.

It was the kind of setting where the romantics would definitely love, despite the bustling of the waiters going in and out to service the costumers. Since my boyfriend and I arrived late (he waited for me at school to finish my duty), we had to order another set of foods, all the while the stores in the mall were closing down. No matter, though, because we had hilarious talks with his family, as we always do. 

Our two Pork Belly orders arrived, having known that this is one of their best-sellers. The tenderness of the meat makes it even more satisfying to my growling stomach, and probably the best yet that I'd tasted. Oddly, it reminds me of my mother's pork cooking way back then, and surmised that it must have tasted something like this.

Then, our Gambas Ala Luna, consisting of sauteed shrimps and hot chili. This is sort of like an appeteasers/appetizers, but we ended up eating this last. Still tastes like one of a kind, though.

Afterwards, we headed home and they drove me safely home as well. Guess it was a good day already, and I most definitely enjoyed my special Valentine's Day. <3 

This was my second time celebrating Heart's Day with them. Compared to last year, which my boyfriend constantly teases me about, I was a whole lot quieter and confused. Striking up a conversation with his family was a lot harder than I'd thought. Now, through consistent visits to them, I was able to form a profound relationship, and it is a whole lot better. Thank you, Lord.

For our April Monthsary, we decided to eat at Mooon Cafe at Robinsons Place. Yaaaay! Finally, after how many months of not spending monthsaries and lunches together, we did this again! ♥

The St. Catherine of Alexandria Cathedral. "Oldest Stone Church in Negros." The church was originally built in 1754 to 1776.
