Moon! It is of great import that you know I saw a real life possum out in the wild today. Maybe 2-3 yards away from me. He had short glossy fur like my cat but a pointy nose, skinny tail, and beady eyes. I very badly wanted to pet him. We stared at each other for a bit and then he trundled away. Didn't break out into a run, didn't much care for me, just waddled slowly away. And specifically on the path- not into the bushes, but walked along the human-made pathways. I hope the imagery of this meeting brings you as much delight as it did me, and I hope someday soon you have a magically mundane little rendezvous with wildlife yourself <3
