i don't have it fully planned out but this is how is basically goes (also i'm not american so some stuff may not be accurate)

So Sarah did want to go to med school at first, but the pressure was too much and she decided to change fields entirely and go to EC

She applies to study EC and gets her degree and teaching certification. (During then her mum finds out and basically yells at her and tells her how bad of an idea it is but by then Sarah's already really passionate about it and says she won't quit)

She applies to work at a centre she worked at during her work placement and she gets the job. She gets paired with another teacher who she learns is called Ava.

Ava's already been a teacher for about a year but is the same age as Sarah. She talks about how she moved from South Africa with a friend to study EC but they had a falling out and they moved back while she decided to stay

Sarah then talks about how she was originally going to become a doctor but because of the stress + self doubt she decided to transfer to another course she was interested in

Ava helps Sarah with her class sometimes (merging classes during outdoor time and stuff) to help her get the hang of teaching because throughout her studies she was more of a 'theory' person rather than 'practical'

Because of that they become fast friends and they often meet up after school to help one another with lesson plans, class themes, and activites for their respective classes

The rest of it is them learning to become better teachers and other shenanigans
