It's still my headcanon that for any retired Dream story the first thing Hob does is buy him the softest pjs he can find in a stars and moons pattern. Dream experiencing the luxury that is comfy pyjamas in winter! Soft socks with no seams! Dream going around barefoot all the time! 😭

yes 😭 oh yes Dream having to adjust from clothes that were automatically comfortable (or, felt like nothing much at all) since they were just made of dreamstuff, to actual real world clothes, that can be so uncomfortable and horrible but then getting the ones that ARE comfy! like affirmatively soft and comfy as opposed to just "i don't notice it bc it's made of dream stuff." let him have all the soft things. especially gifted by someone who loves him.
