Me the night before: Aw geez, I have an appointment at 9am tomorrow. I should go to bed early. Me the morning of: It's 5am, I should get up so I can get ready for that 9am appointment today.

Me two hours later: Whyyyyy is it so long until my appointment still?

Me at 5 minutes before my appointment: HOLY FUCK! I'M GONNA BE LATE! *scramble*

I was today years old when I learned that my hatred of socks is part of being neurodivergent.

That being said, I have a very cute, curated, sock collection with many interesting prints, textures, and lengths.

At one point, I thought if I made my socks fun enough, I'd enjoy wearing them more.

It does help a bit to know my socks are fun but I still don't like wearing them.

Me: *wakes up suddenly with an idea for an illustration* Me: *sketches furiously for ten minutes* Me: *can't decide what illustration style to use so does the whole thing TWICE over three full days so I can compare the two*

Me: Why don't I post art more often?

I went to the bakery yesterday and their regular cutting machine was out of order so they asked if it was okay if they sliced my bread a bit thicker than normal.

I said it was okay. What was going to say, no, fuck you, I'm going to slice my own bread? Heck no! I can't slice bread uniformly and at my preferred thickness. (I try with my homemade loaves but the slices are always too thick. I still eat them but it's annoying.)

So, my toast this week is a bit thicker than normal. I thought this was going to be a Problem but you know what? I sort of like this thickness.

Anyhow, this is just another example of why my nephew's autism diagnosis has me re-evaluating myself. (Their ADHD diagnosis led to everyone in the family being diagnosed. XD) Toast thickness should not be affecting me this profoundly? I should not be anxious that my toast is 1/8" thicker than normal, right? Do people even have emotional support toast thicknesses?

Four of my really old pics got flagged for inappropriate content. XD Only one actually shows anything that might possibly be inappropriate but even that is just a bit of skin showing from a man's chest and abs. The other three were pencil sketches of hobbits.

Today is day three or four of intermittent migraines. Light is my enemy.

Knowledge work is valid work and deserves compensation.

Brought to you by a conversation I had with my father where he called me 'spoiled' for my compensation/benefits for my knowledge worker career.

No wonder he never says he's proud of me, he doesn't understand what I do on a fundamental level so he doesn't understand the value of what I do. This was a bit of a revelation for me.

I am missing one, count 'em, one bubbulfrog in Tears of the Kingdom. Did I miss one in a cave somewhere?

*Scours her map.* No, every cave has a checkmark so... I'm missing a cave.

But where? The interactive map helps but I still have to go section by section comparing my game to the map to see if I missed a cave. This worked for when I had six left to find. Sure enough, I'd missed a few caves.

But I have been over the maps a dozen times and cannot for the life of me find that last cave.

if only past!Moosefrog had taken a photo of a bubbulfrog I'd be able to tune the sensor and I could go about my merry way, crawling over mountains, until my sensor pinged.

I will not give up! I have spent hours hunting down bubbulfrogs and I intend to complete this quest!

In other news, the only monster I struggle a bit with now is the silver lynel. Lesser lynels are easy prey. Even gleeoks, now that I'm armed with lynel bows, are relatively straightforward to take on.

That being said, while the surface and air maps are pretty well exhausted, I still have a large part of the depths to explore.

I just don't want to devote myself to the depths until I've found that last bubblfrog!
