Spent the evening taking apart some crusty old CR80 forks before I lower them for a project...I have never worked on forks where the oil turned to sludge. Set this guy up last night only to discover the wheel shaft is slightly bigger than 12mm...thats fine for big bikes but not so good for mopeds 🤦♂️. @mcmastercarr to the rescue! New shaft ordered. 😁. Seriously though @mcmastercarr is awesome on price, service, crazy fast shipping, and they have every kind of building material you can imagine ...no I'm not sponsored I just love em! If they do warehouse tours I wanna take one 😜 Tomorrow I should have the correct sized shaft and get these @rk_excel rims trued. I'm hoping to have a new moped finished by the end of September and another if not two by the end of October...let's just say I had a backlog of projects.
