So the defense lawyer from the trial I was a juror on showed up at my job today ( I work in a deli) (we found the defendant guilty) And he was like "did you think I didn't recognize you?" "You spend two weeks in a room with someone in a high tension situation..." And I tried to make it light and laughed and whatever but it was still so fucking awkward

Btw if you guys ever wanna see something really funny get a group of intellectuals together and tell them that if you say "buffalo" seven times in a row, you will have said a complete, meaningful, grammatically correct sentence Because it turns out, under the right circumstances and with the right people, the reaction is for everyone to try to figure out how So you will start with everyone talking about the meaning of the word buffalo and then it will slowly devolve into a group of adults sitting around and saying the word "buffalo" to each other over and over with varying degrees of emphasis
