Louis heard the sound - it was not all far. The sound of footsteps on pavement. Whether it was Infected or human, he was not sure, but one could never be too careful in these times. Silently, the survivor crept along the edge of the building. Whatever was making that noise was just around the corner. Louis halted at the corner, sipping a quick breath through his pursed lips before whipping out from where he hid himself. The gun pointed and was aimed for the skull of the figure. Before adding pressure to the trigger, Louis froze upon seeing a living human.
