My name is Isaiah Bradley. I'm the other Captain America. That's right, you heard me. The other Captain America, the black Captain America. You've probably never heard of me, and there's different reasons behind why. I'm just trying to live a normal life, but somehow I keep getting pulled back into the fold. I am also the father of Ariadne Io Bradley. Just call her Ari though, okay? [[ooc: Independent Marvel RP blog. An Isaiah Bradley meant to be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Will include bits and pieces of 616 comicverse history blended with bits and pieces of my own. Will RP and plot with everyone. May contain NSFW posts once in a awhile.]]
"….." She froze. Sucking in a sharp breath she turned to face him. "You-Heard?” How had he heard? Oh yes- of course, He still had free reign to come and go as he pleased. “Don’t. I don’t want Pity please”
And there she goes... with the whole no pity thing. He just kept his mouth shut, observing her. If she didn't want pity then fine. He was sorry that she was kicked out though. He couldn't understand why Hades would it. Of course, he never understood the so-called King of the Underworld anyway.
She breathed in a quick breath as he enveloped her in his arms. Oh he felt so good to touch. She wrapped her arms around his mid-section quickly and nuzzled her face into his chest. “Thank you-” She muttered and kissed his shoulder.
Isaiah nodded in response to her thanking him. He leaned his head, placing first a gentle kiss against her shoulder, then one against her neck. He tightened his arms around her a little and nuzzled her lightly. It was nice to have her in his arms again; nice to have her where she belonged.
Isaiah raised a brow at Eve’s comment, having been laying next to her the whole time. He looked at her, then off to the side, then pushed the sheets off himself, getting up. “I’ll be home… in my bed…”
She sat up and glanced to the side. When had he gotten there? Her breathing was rapid as sweat doused her brow as well as her shirt. She took a moment to catch her breath and wipe her eyes as she reached out but stopped. “In your bed. I didn’t even know you were here- I thought you had been home. Your home”
Isaiah stopped before he went too far. “I haven’t been home in days actually…”
He scratched the back of his neck gently and shrugged.
“I’ve been down here…”
Why would he be up there? There was nothing for him in the mortal world. His friends were gone doing their own things, Ari was starting to spend time down in the world more, and he stopped keeping an eye on Faith and the others ages ago. The mortal world was just a reminder of loneliness for him.
She breathed and pinched her nose. Her nightmares had come back. “I didn’t know. After the fight I just thought-“
She paused and pursed her lips to a taught line. “I’ve been really busy lately- Please…stay?” She didn’t want to admit every night she had woken in a tangled mess in her bed spread.
He kept her safe, even if this was her domain. She liked him; having him by her side once more.
Isaiah nodded gently to her rest and immediately made his way back over. The shirtless super soldier lowered himself onto the bed, laying before her. Without even thinking he wrapped his arm around her, pulling her close. And he didn't t even think about it afterward either. He just... wanted to be close to her again.
