30 Day LOTRO screenshot challenge: Day 10 - Yellow

This one was hard for exactly the opposite reason as last night's. The obvious answer for yellow is Lothlorien. So I couldn't just do that. Someone else posted the sunflowers in the Shire already. I did consider going for a dip in the gold pools of Erebor or some of my own gold stores in my Belfalas house. Also considered the mirrors in Moria and Gundabad. Finally, I found a bit of yellow in an unlikely place. The Court of Seregost instance. Moradriel has a penchant for sitting on every throne she comes across.

I also considered Amardam, the Ancient Evil in Angmar. But I just posted a caerog the other day and this one is hard to catch unless you're fighting it because it tucks its head under itself while sleeping. I like the caerogs though, so take this screenshot anyway.

Decided to pick up loremastering's 30 Day LOTRO screenshot challenge

Day 1: Introduction

It should tell you something that I intended to start this yesterday with the beginning of December but...

Anyway. I started playing LOTRO back in February 2011 on an absolute potato of a laptop and dorm internet. Started out on Firefoot, later moved to Landroval when Firefoot closed, and now playing on Peregrin. I've still only managed to get one character to 150 in that time but have had several alts make it to 50+. I don't bother with group content. Spent 2011 to 2025 in the same kin (We Might Be Giants) but for a long time I was the only one active. Now I have 2 "kins" of just me. Now I'm mostly running just 2 characters, so they'll probably be who shows up here most. Maybe more of Moradriel. I might pull from the screenshots folder or might have new screenshots depending on how the new expansion goes. I do have some ideas for some of the days planned though.

30 Day LOTRO screenshot challenge: Day 23 - Dusk or Dawn

Technically, these are both before dusk but I'm having to pull from my screenshots folder tonight because family and Christmas and still having to work tomorrow.

Anyway, not sure of the exact location the first picture was taken from but looks like we're looking toward Umbar Baharbel with the Arena in the middle.

The second is the sunset on Durin's Day. One of the best sunsets north of Umbar imo.

Evendim nearly made it but I figure I've posted enough Evendim. Then again...

These really do fit the prompt better, actually being dusk pics. Here's High King's Crossing and TInnudir.

30 Day LOTRO screenshot challenge: Day 18 - Selfie

Mora roared at the Watcher of Urmakh tonight. Taking a screenshot that gives selfie vibes is not the easiest in LOTRO.

First off, she got stuck in this hole trying to get to the Watcher.

Then caught a glimpse of what it would be like to be a ghost. Maybe she'll be stuck in this hole forever...

Decided to pop in for a visit with King Elessar. She knew him before he was cool. Not the most expressive though. Kind of ends up looking like a family portrait or maybe some sort of action movie poster. The king is too cool to look into the camera and smile for a second.

30 Day LOTRO screenshot challenge: Day 6 - Favorite Mounts

Moradriel has a decent size stable to choose from, 130/284. These two are her most used though. The first being the Prized Angmar's Free Peoples Steed, shown here near Rammas Deluon in Angmar, paired with her Fine Grey Company outfit. The second is the Prized Algraig Steed. Decided to model this one in Lhanuch with the Robe of the Learned Stag and Campaigner's Shoulder Guards.

30 Day LOTRO screenshot challenge: Day 29 - Hobby

Decided to get a jump on this one last night since I found this neat spring in An Sheru. Then world chat announced a fishing party in Tinnudir so I decided to go be social while I fish. Actually caught several fish I hadn't caught before and several that will be going to the taxidermist.

30 Day LOTRO screenshot challenge: Day 27 - Creepy

Spiders. Spiders taller than Moradriel on a horse. Spiders with glowing green eyes. I think those qualify as creepy.

Oh yeah. And these guys way down deep in Moria. Why haven't the dwarves blocked this area off yet? (Tumblr seems to think these are mature content and have flagged this post. Or maybe it was the spider legs.)
