365 Days of productivity
Day 1) 24th March 2019; 9:46 pm
The day was pretty good. I was productive without stressing myself over things that needed to be done.
I did everything I absolutly needed to do, such as my laundry, vacuum my flat, taking care of my plants and myself, but I had lots of free time as well. Although I stayed in my flat most of the day, I was able to enjoy the spring sun on my blacony while reading the first few pages of Finn-Ole Heinrichs “Räuberhände”, a novel about two best friends a friend of mine recommanded; and I watched some lets plays made by the german youtubers Gronkh and Tobinator while eating sushi.
For some people this might sound lame or not even productive, but for me it’s a good start again. While I was at school at nights for my “Abitur” and worked a full-time job in a law office, I have completely neglected other things that are self-evident. Such as cleaning the flat regulatly, watering my plants, reading just for fun and brushing my teeth 2-3 times a day.
I did study for university as well, but not as much as I intended to read. Only the first and second chapter of experimental psychology and I must say: I love it. I’m so happy with my courses for uni.
Tomorrow I have work again, so I’ll probably not be able to do a lot of things, but thats on my To-Do list:
- buy some grocery (I’m really bad at this)
- reading another 1-2 chapters
- take care of my finances (credit and BAföG and so on)
- smile and cuddle my cat
Paprika popping out to say hello! She molted last Thursday and her colors are so vibrant now :)
