I always think about how it would be so cool if Little Hope had a part showing the characters having fun and stuff. Like in Man of Medan at the beginning on the boat. It's all just fun. Or with The Devil in Me too! I get why we didn't get that, but it would be so nice to see them hanging out on the bus. I would kill for that tbh

JAIME. there’s so many alliance / new republic muses and obi wan is just fuckin around on tatooine making wooden figurines or dEAD. i wish he was more involved in the war tbh. like every interaction with alliance / new republic muses is just them finding him on tatooine and him being like no i’m not that man.

Cool Kids

There is not enough Mari and Kel content in this world...I seek to fill the void....no one asked but here we are HBD Mari part 3

Kel has tons of “Hero” worship for his brother ((hahaha bad pun)) and wants to be just like him, but he also has a lot of hero worship for Mari. Particularly when they’re younger

Mari is the only other member of their group that does sports. She’s a big softball star, and he and her bond over enjoying the feeling of exerting yourself. 

It’s one of their special things. Sunny and her are attached at the hip most of the time, but Sunny would not pick up a ball or run a base if you paid him a million dollars. 

Mari and he sometimes play catch over the shared fence. Hero will sit on the porch studying, Sunny will sit in the grass drawing, and Mari and Kel will go through the rhythmic motion of catch, throw, catch, throw, catch, throw

They continue to do this even after Mari has her injury and quits softball. It’s something that eases how much she misses playing games

Kel struggles in school and Hero helps to tutor him but sometimes it’s just too hard to have Hero tutor him because it awakens his insecurities..all of them

When that happens Mari comes over to their house armed with highlighters, cookies, and tons of love for him. She sits them down at the dining room table and makes him flashcards and gets him up and moving. They play study games and the information comes so much easier

After Mari is gone Kel tries to make his own flashcards, but there’s something gone from them and they don’t help as much. It’s not the same without her careful pretty handwriting and the tiny pictures she liked to draw on the backs.

Mari has a habit of tying Kel’s shoes. She does this for Sunny too but Kel needs it more often. It’s an unspoken thing for them that Mari will occasionally kneel down and pat her knee (Kel is always extra careful to only step on her good knee) and she ties his shoes into tight bunny rabbit bows

Kel can’t remember a time when Hero and Mari weren’t all mushy for each other. He usually calls her Mari, but sometimes he calls her big sister. He will also sometimes refer to Sunny as his “tiny brother”

Their entire group is very close, but the four of them have something a little deeper. It’s not just that they know each other for longer, it’s also the unspoken knowledge that someday they will be a real family
