Lenore is already pushing.

THE ACT OF HER BEING THERE AT ALL talking and buttering up to Ira is already pushing her ideas onto Annabel. Lenore IS acting like a suitor! She DID all of this with the UNWAVERING EXPECTATION that Annabel will say 'yes' no matter what even though Annabel already left the cottage and made her decision in so doing. We have to ADDRESS THAT FIRST!?!? We can't just turn around and be like "oh no i respect women. if you want this, you do you girl." like?? and then annabel swoons about it?? HUH?

the situation is not that fucking simple?? are we serious? Annabel does not want to be married off. Lenore gives her another way but that way is not puppies and rainbows and fairytale land. Annabel STILL has to contend with the fact she will HAVE TO RELY on Lenore regardless in the SAME EXACT MANNER she would have to rely on a husband!?!?

ONE path is childhood playmate with financial stability. She hates his ass. Will remain in a society she knows well.

OTHER path is lenore without financial stability. She loves her ass. Will be forced into a situation she is completely unprepared for. (Lenore is also unprepared for this???!!??)

not to mention that's not even bringing up Lenore herself and how she was so goddamn convinced (with good reason!) that Annabel DOES. NOT. WANT. THIS. to the point that she burned a house down, stole, got a gun, faked her death AND identity, and is WILLING to LIVE LIKE THIS for the rest of her life with all of the pitfalls that entails for her specifically (you're never going to the doctor ever again, good luck, don't get sick)

You are telling me she is backing down? We are having her backing down because we MUST depict her as "better than" suitors even though the situation and their relationship is vastly different in comparison with Lenore and Annabel ACTUALLY having a rapport with each other, and actively liking each other, and being fucking friends?!?!? And both of them knowing this is not what Annabel wants but the alternative is a shaky dream at best which should be what the conversation is centered on! This shouldn't be about 'choice', this should be about TRUST! How can Annabel trust Lenore with this plan of hers if she won't even TRY to sell it? If they won't even talk about the negatives of it? Why are we repeating 106's conversations!

Lenore is just so gallant and good and #feminist that she will feel NOTHING at having thrown everything into the gutter to "rescue" Annabel and then being rejected. Where is the entitlement? The indignant "I did all of this for YOU! You literally don't want this why are you playing with me???" and Annabel going "I didn't ask you to try and save me so you can make me into your little trophy!!!"?????

Why paint this chapter as SHEER DESPERATION on Annabel's part (and Lenore's too??? like come on?) because she's quite literally cornered and has to rely solely on Lenore deciding to be good when we can just focus on how cool and gallant Lenore is instead.

But yeah no, Annabel says 'no' (a bluff Lenore can call in 0.2 seconds the way she already did do once lol) and its just yeah...Girl power, here you go Annabel, Lenore graciously gives you the "choice".

Remember when Magenta gave us a small descriptive of Transexual that a lot of us look past on? Yeah, in like one sentence. “Land of night.”

When we take this, we can obtain that 1.) they have no sun, & 2.) they are a species similar to chemoautotrophs as we know it.

What I mean by this is that a lot of people can turn around and say “oh they’re nocturnal!” without acknowledging that “land of night”most likely explores that there is no sun exposure at all. If they were nocturnal, they’d have to sleep in the day— but how would they if there’s no light to begin with!

Chemoautotrophs can be explained with simple google research; an organism that obtain energy by chemosynthesis, using inorganic chemical reactions rather than sunlight. Now, how does this work? For photosynthesis, you need sun for the mixture in order to produce the necessary reactants. Sunlight does not act like a product, but more as photon that drives the entire process. You have the car, you have the fuel, you just need the driver. “Oh but Simon how does this make any sense, humans use respiration not photosynthesis!” Do humans use photosynthesis? No. I’m just putting this out there as an example of how contrasting the concept between humans and transexuals could be as separate species.

Anyhow, chemosynthesis replaces this sunlight with inorganic chemical reactions. The most common type of chemosynthesis is when the organism uses hydrogen sulfide, but there are other types that include methane and hydrogen in an oxidation process (a loss of electrons in an atom during a chemical reaction). The term “land of night” imply’s that the transexuals don’t have natural light. See where I’m getting? If you see (with this cute little diagram I found on facebook), the formulas for photosynthesis and chemosynthesis are quite similar despite their differences!! How cool is that!!

So by using the technique of comparing existing organism systems we already have on earth, we can learn that transexuals can have a totally different orbit on how they naturally operate! They can be entirely different to humans, but somehow adapt similar structures at the same time! Who knows!!! This also means they just pee and probably don’t shit. maybe

REMINDER, this could simply just be how they behave on their planet. This is also probably entirely wrong. We don’t see them go out of the castle at any point other than their disguises, and we can see them eating human food as in an alternative to gaining energy. This can also imply a possible biology-shifting phenomenon that happens in them, either by high level technology of their own or a natural process. The usage of bioluminescent compounds in their everyday environment could be a cool thing to imagine, but we already know that have already accessed the properties of basic fire and agriculture. Thinking about it, it can implement that humans and transexual’s are really similar in innovations— the possibility of “shapeshifting” and blending in with humans so easily can be simply because they already have that knowledge, they’re just millenniums ahead!

Changing the way their body works, how they handle different chemical compounds and forces into their body with a natural biological switch up???? And I’m not even scratching the surface with this; when I get my C up in science, I’ll come back to you guys.

We know hydro archon and cryo archon are female. Thats four female two male so far. And DAMMIT the pyro archon has also been referred to as she/her. Giving us 5/2 end female/male presenting archons.

I really REALLY wanted ‘Murata’ to be male. It has potential for a male name. They changed dendro from male to female. And damn them and their money chasing asses for going full female now.

Old art of all archons in archon war depict dendro and pyro both as looking like males. Obviously dendro is retconned to be female at this point and pyro is referred to as female on all occasions but dammit i dont have to be happy about this

Oh, no! I feel another rant coming...

And you guessed it, it's about Once Upon a Broken Heart! (I'm neurodivergent, I obsess over certain things, let me be lol)

Am I the only one who feels that Jacks, in OUABH, was a little bit out of character? Yes? Is it just me? OK.

Not but seriously, I've been thinking about his characterization in this new book and his characterization in the previous series, and it sort of doesn't match up? I don't know, maybe I'm just nitpicking at this point, but hear me out. Why would Jacks suddenly be so kind to a girl? Because he's surprisingly kind to Eva, I mean, he's still rude sometimes, but overall he treats her with respect? He's suddenly so composed. And it's not like I'm complaining about Jacks being a decent person, it's just so not like him?

And maybe I should wait before passing judgment on that, because maaaybe Jacks truly is just faking, as Eva theorized by the end of the book. And honestly that would make more sense with his character. I'm not saying he can't fall in love with Eva, just that it'd be unrealistic for him to have fallen for her in the first book, when not even three whole months have passed since the whole Finale ordeal. I'm sorry but it wouldn't make sense. I wouldn't buy it.

To me it'd make a more interesting story if Jacks truly is faking (it also make him stay in character), and slowly starts falling for Eva (by the end of book two, for example), instead of being an insta love (oh, how I despise insta loves). Because seriously, Eva and Jacks have only met for like, what, a week? Two at most? And in those 1-2 weeks they have interacted six times? And Jacks (allegedly) is in love enough with her to treat her with respect? The same Jacks from Legendary and Finale? You want me to actually believe that? Yeah, not happening. And why Mistress Luck is not in OUABH, she was Jacks' buddy! Anyway haha.

Getting back to the main topic: WHY WOULD JACKS' HEART START BEATING AGAIN?! It just doesn't makes sense. It doesn't makes sense for it to happen so soon. Because I'm not saying it can't happen, but this soon? Really? Well, for a Fate that's supposed to leave a trail of corpses behind him because he can't find his one true love, he falls in love quite easily and pretty quickly.

I don't know, I'm hoping to just be jumping to conclusions here. I want to be wrong and I want Garber to shut my mouth with the sequel of OUABH. I'm praying that she does.

Another thing: After watching George's stream yesterday I noticed something, there was a lot of spamming going on and the mods switched to sub only mode. I watched multiple messages go by that said "I guess it's my turn to leave" and "I hate sub only mode, it makes the chat dry" I recognized a few of those users and noticed that they were some of the people contributing to the spam. If you spam in a chat then get mad and leave when it gets switched to sub only mode you were probably the problem. You're there for the stream. Not to spam in the chat.
