The real reason Byler didn’t end up making love is because that would’ve required Matt and Ross to have had sex in real life to know how to write it, which they have not.

every take that makes a joke or a critique about Peeta begging Katniss to be his girlfriend post-Games, or every take that acts like Peeta was on Love Island while Katniss was playing Squid Games grinds my gears so badly because not only does it hideously minimize his Games-trauma but it never takes into account WHY a little boy who grew up being struck in the face, (possibly) beaten with a belt, and being called a “stupid creature” by his mother might be a little upset about the (first???) person who showed him affection and prioritized him and tried to DIE with him not trusting him enough to come clean to him about what she and their mentor were strategizing, might have some associated pre-Games trauma from not knowing if someone’s love is real or not … what I’m saying is that it completely disregards that Peeta is a (presumably long-time) victim of physical and emotional abuse when analyzing his character and his reactions and that … is not the look
people are always making fun of snails because salt kills them, but enough salt can kill anything. Oh, you think snails are weak? Well if we eat too much of the ROCKS we season our food with we DIE.
Inktober #17: Salty
Still Salty About The Class War
Act I Jayce and Viktor are driven by the goal to change the world.
Act II Jayce and Viktor are driven by the need to save Viktor. But like... they only understood their invention as a power source, not a health cure so they’re left trying to shove square pegs into round holes.
But you know what is a health cure? Healthcare. Not feeding a whole city pollution run off. Ending overpolicing (and policing in general). Mental health resources. Fair wages. Resources. Education. Access to medicine. Unpolluted food. Sunlight. Clean water. Fresh air.
Everything the council has the means to fix. Y’know, the one Jayce throws a mini-hissy fit at being coerced to join because “he didn’t sign up to be in politics, he just wants to do science so he can make the world a better place.”
It’s like Jayce is a foot from the target and is still looking around like “where do I point my hammer-gun?”
(Spoiler: his aim sucks anyway. he already proved that)
And while it’s too late for those things to necessarily cure Viktor, all of them do stop the Undercity from churning out more illness. And are like, a stepping stone to ending oppression and shit.
I’m still salty.
hello gang, does anybody know where i can find the video of the person who added so much salt to a meal in the game heavy rain, i’m dying to see it again thank you :)) it might have been heavy rain anyway!
Some asshole: Shoujo heroines are weak!
