Comic Book Saturday

This is a cool graphic novel. I didn’t know that I needed this graphic novel about the Salem Witch Trials until I read it.

I’ve read and listened to a bunch of stuff about the Salem Witch Trials, and every time I read or listen or watch something new about it, I’m still hit with the intensity of it. And, this graphic novel wasn’t any different. Although, it was slightly different in that most of the stories about the witch trials don’t go into the story of Giles Corey too much (he was the one who was pressed to death). The story was definitely wicked in depth, and then there was the art. It worked really really well with the subject matter and the story that the author was telling as well. It was a great read.
