Muso fantasma are a duo from Spain. In a previous edition of Random we hosted a small number of their truly mesmerizing collages (check Random#1). Their special musical style and their dark aesthetics is a definitive characteristic in their compositions. Their first release is here! The 11 tracks included in the album is music that could have come out from another era that is though is so complex, due to the use of varying musical styles, that could not be described in any other words. Ciudad Juarez and No necesito introduce us to the album with the vocals by Pedro Amodio (a member of Dios, the new wave band from Argentina). Tango maldito, a lo-fi tango based on toy piano, and haymuxosol, a suprising collage of cinematic-like sounds, follow. “8”is one of the finest pieces of music I have ever listen to. This is also the point of departure for the rest of the album. Melodramo initially misleads us to anything different than its development to a la pascal comelade masterpiece. The vocals of Andriana Petit on mente terrenal are accompanied with the dry guitar and prepare us for the magnificent last track Hugo Ball [dadadadadada] that is structured around a television sounds based loop. I will comment on anything else about Muso Fantasma, it is after all the second release in the Anarthria series by the moremars team, and you could get more information at the release section. I should mention though that many tracks from the Se Puede Bailar Con Los Demonios Pero Siempre En Actituo De Fiest album have been visualized, youtube search them and enjoy! [Marios M]
