I drew “chobble” versions of all my grim reaper characters (“chobble” was coined by the lovely @badcowboy69). Not all of these reapers appear in TotCT, but they are connected in some form or another.

Morena Rex
Birth: Arose from the crater of a volcano.
Age: 821 years old, appearance varies.
Abilities: Morena can alter her age at will and manipulate the malleable minds around her so that they are tricked into believing she was that age all along.
Personality: Morena may seem bubbly but she is not a force to be reckoned with. In her case, her “bite” is actually far worse than her “bark”, which is why no individual should ever consider quarrelling with her. On a lighter note, she’s charismatic and quite a thrill-seeker. No day will ever follow the same diurnal pattern when she’s around.
Grimm Reaver
Birth: Arose from a water-filled sinkhole.
Age: 1578 years old, looks 28.
Abilities: Grimm is from an older generation, and therefore has no abilities unique to a reaper. He has, however, unlocked the mystery behind prolonging a life.
Personality: Grimm is inherently shy, yet kind and attentive to the needs of others. In conversation, Grimm generally prefers asking questions partially to learn, but also to drive the attention away from himself. Although he is well over a thousand years old and has amassed quite a historical knowledge, he still retains a child-like curiosity. The more one gets to know him the more he reveals his surprisingly puckish sense of humour.
Dieter Starkad
Birth: Arose from an acidic, boiling hot-spring.
Age: 1313 years old, looks 30.
Abilities: Also known as the human venus flytrap, Dieter has an alluring effect and can attract his prey from a mile away - though there are exceptions. He can also reap a soul before the predestined expiry.
Personality: Dieter is not to be trusted. Dieter exudes cordiality; he almost always has a huge smile on his face. Before one even needs to ask, Dieter will be at their side giving them a hand. Fashion-wise, Dieter was always very meticulous about keeping up with the latest trends and both women and men absolutely adore him for it, although their advances almost never get returned.
Nazar
Birth: Arose from manmade’s “Door to Hell”.
Age: 45 years old, looks 15.
Abilities: Nazar has the ability to induce diseases, reducing lifespans of numerous humans at a time. She can also sense other reapers nearby.
Personality: Nazar is a bit of an oddity. She pretends to be mute in order to avoid conversing with her peers - whom she believes is intellectually inferior. In most cases that is true. She is a hot-head, she is very obstinate and she believes in total anarchy, for the world is just her playground.
Mr. Higura
Birth: Arose from quicksand.
Age: 2080 years old, looks about 60.
Abilities: He is from an older generation, so he has no abilities that are unique to reapers.
Personality: Mr. Higura is wise and pensive and prefers to keep to himself. He’s quite nostalgic for the old ways of life and therefore has a bit of resentment towards the newer generations. Bureaucratic in his way of thinking, Higura believes that a reaper has just one job on this earth: serve Them (nature). In his opinion, any reaper who strays from the system has no business being on Earth.
Otylia Ulrik
Birth: Unknown location.
Age: 3201 years old, looks 30.
Abilities: She is from an older generation, so he has no abilities that are unique to reapers.
Personality: Ulrik is stern and resolute. Thousands of years of wars and epidemics have hardened her personality and she has no more time for games anymore. Her goal is to ease the suffering of humans and consolidate as many reapers as she can, in order to promulgate “empathy” among them or create a sense of “family.” She is one of the first reapers to try to establish unity, since it is already quite a feat to find another reaper. Ulrik is not “all work, no play”. On rare occasions, she’ll stop to smell the flowers.
I’m trying out new concepts for Morena’s death god form because the other one was too basic. I’ve been thinking that perhaps she could be this abstract ever-changing entity with many faces (since it relates to her aging ability on earth). The faces always look in your direction, no matter what side you’re on and her body is miraculously a vacuum for light.
Yeah, I dunno... I’m trying to make her creepy without overdoing it.
My tablet has been broken for the past 3 weeks, so here, have a shitty old doodle of Morena Rex’s previous form. I’m gonna redesign the shit out of this thing once I get a new tablet.
