I will not be waiting until I die to find that peace in the valley. I will no longer sit in pain of anyone’s “why.” As I have spent hours and days sitting in the window in my corner of prayers, I ask for the hope and the faith to understand the truth I am seeing before me. Watching a statue of peace and the flowers I planted as a symbol of love to the life I wanted to watch grow. I waited the day they would gently unfold into the beautiful flower🌸. As I awoke from the darkness and sat in my corner of prayer I took a good look and beyond the pain, I could see the absolute beauty of a new day and the now beautiful flower that broke free from the bud. I only have each moment that’s all that is guaranteed and in each moment I am choosing to seek out the peace and the love that shows me that this world still has so much beauty to see. I will be the observer, learn from nature and god consciousness how I will teach and live. It was not yesterday I leaped on this path it was many years ago. I have died a thousand times and shed a million layers. I have discovered my heart will always get broken without notice, love was always there and there will always be a reminder through the beauty that is often in disguise, that the joy is always dancing through the air and occasionally blows directly at me. I have had to look down and fall in pain to my knees but while there I discovered why no one will force me to bend and lose faith in me. Flexibility, harmony and peace are not all the way at the end. The end is the death that will return me to the home that I had longed for, for way too long. That desire kept me from seeing that the happiness and glow was right inside of me. No need to rush, no need to get flustered or allow a thought that someone is beating me to the so-called “win.” From this place I have discovered the saviour in me. I am the woman who found the red shoes that in my style became a boot, because I have no desire to be like anyone else. I have discovered that the heart of it all would light the ways and with a new perspective I can see all the ways. Where do I go and how do I choose? This I will have to trust as faith, hope and a desire to just be is now guiding me. My life changed when I had to decide that it was time to stop complaining about what was wrong wrong with everyone else and be done with deceiving myself. I was done making excuses for any and all bad behaviour including my own. When I decided that just as the words of others were hurting me I realized my own words had also been hurting not just others but hurting me! This leads to the misery we chose and believe it to be the root of the pain then becomes the comfortable we choose and the lies we tell. The reflection that the problem is that of another became the life that I could no longer live. Self actualization is the awareness that you should “matter” and that your happiness and inner peace should never be the responsibility of another. We have the choice to choose and when I chose to make myself accountable and responsible, I discovered respect, love and compassion for me. Then and only then did the complaining about everyone out there stop and I could see through the eyes of all there was a soul of love that we forget had always been reflecting love back me! Imagine what you can be when you can see love through the eyes of the good person you were seeking in another. More Than Existing(tm) started with me because I just could not tell a lie that I was a healer who had forgotten about healing me. I made it all public and wore my pain on my face for too many years and believing the lie that I told myself that I could tell everyone, “I was just fine!” I am a teacher, a healer, a mystic and a coach.
