Making peace There is a certainty of being “okay” when we make peace with the continual return of the storms. The moments that become so familiar others wait for the action and the light show of the disruptive energy. The reactions, responses and the need to be seen, heard or simply to finally release. When it’s over and the sun rises again we sit and contemplate, “Why did that moment have such a hold over me?” The hours and days to come often leaving us defensively defending the “Why”. Storms brew and it was not the storm of explosive energy that had been the problem,that is what we are always trying to repair. It is the build up of pressure, the suppression instead of expression. The unsaid and frustration that comes when unhealthy energy collides. The storm may have been needed and it’s so spectacular to watch but the forever we seek is the calm peaceful feeling of empty but filled when the storm has finally passed on. If we deal with the truth of the issue and not suppress our truth we’ll that would be seeking to stay in the solutions, meaning communication may be a must. The change in me was not seen or found out there. I had been seeking long and far for the happiness and joy that was to complete me. It has taken me forty-nine years to finally discover that I was still living as if there was two of me. Today I have not just discovered the light in me that was so much easier than actually finding and understanding the still missing piece of my quest for happiness was to come to understand peace. The peace in me I have found by discovering that through the worlds need to control I have let it all go. The need to be seen and heard was not out there. The one listening to me and whispering in my ear to just trust was the one who is in charge of it all and has always been walking and standing with me. The power of “ I Am” is imprinted in me! Today I heard, “just listen to me” and in that moment I have finally been set free. I seen Lady Liberty and I heard we have all been set free, stay high and keep your eye on the light, there is a peace that so many just can’t yet see. My life changed when I had to decide that it was time to stop complaining about what was wrong wrong with everyone else and be done with deceiving myself. I was done making excuses for any and all bad behaviour including my own. When I decided that just as the words of others were hurting me I realized my own words had also been hurting not just others but hurting me! This leads to the misery we chose and believe it to be the root of the pain then becomes the comfortable we choose and the lies we tell. The reflection that the problem is that of another became the life that I could no longer live. Self actualization is the awareness that you should “matter” and that your happiness and inner peace should never be the responsibility of another. We have the choice to choose and when I chose to make myself accountable and responsible, I discovered respect, love and compassion for me. Then and only then did the complaining about everyone out there stop and I could see through the eyes of all there was a soul of love that we forget had always been reflecting love back me! Imagine what you can be when you can see love through the eyes of the good person you were seeking in another. More Than Existing(tm) started with me because I just could not tell a lie that I was a healer who had forgotten about healing me. I made it all public and wore my pain on my face for too many years and believing the lie that I told myself that I could tell everyone, “I was just fine!” I am a teacher, a healer, a mystic and a coach.
