#As we go through life things invariably change, circumstances change, environments change, financial security levels & let's not forget we change! We grown, we struggle, we mature or not(lol) Through it all, our perception of Christmas changes too. As a child we are filled with joy, wonder & anticipation but later on, when things aren't as simple & sometimes much tougher. Sometimes, it's harder to find that Christmas spirit. Oftentimes, we make it through and suddenly get surprised that the spirit finds us. I hope that you have found it or if you haven't that you do so. In the case that you don't this year, it's ok. The joy will return. We are old enough now to know that we get another chance to find that joy next year if we miss it this year to you all! I personally know how hard it can be when you have a chronic illness as the energy to just get through the day sometimes can be overwhelming, let alone through the holidays. We can easily forget to see the forest through the trees when in constant pain. We have to try to remember that we may have to keep things a bit more flexible & do what we can not what we feel we "should" but if we don't forget to take care of ourselves, we just may be able to enjoy the holiday. I know there are somethings worth my pain & some that are not. Spending time with my loved ones on the holidays is definitely worth it! I just have to remind myself of that when I am paying the price ;) My wish for you this year & every is that you find the joy in Christmas & if you don't that you know that it will be there next year. We have time & it's ok. Merry Christmas, Happy Channukah & Happy Holidays to you & yours! May you have the least painful holiday that you possibly can & know that you aren't alone! #TWG7Sings #WhereAreYouChristmas #Project365 #morethanfibro
