He's leaning against a wall with a look of pain on his face. He stands up straight and turns to face the person who said his name. The look of pain fades and is replaced with a weak smile as he looks at Lucy. "H-hey Lucy." He replies with a nervous stutter. He wasn't aiming for pity points even though his left leg was screaming in pain and it also felt weird to be wearing a prosthetic leg after having a flesh leg for years.

He just wants to break down and cry, but he knows Lucy might think he's looking for pity points. He breathes in heavily and smiles at her, this time meeting her eyes. "It's going.." He hesitates and then decides to tell her the truth rather than lie, seeing as he's been going to regular therapy to help with his lying and learning how to tell the truth, as well as PT for his leg. "It's going good. Yeah good. They're working me hard. How's uh how's everyone at the station?" He really wanted to ask how Tamara was but decided against it.

Well this was different. "What's the protocol here, Penny?" He asked softly, one perfectly groomed eyebrow raised in her direction.

This was not what Winn had expected was going to happen. He was the IT guy, an analyst for the DEO. Not someone who people took an interest in. But of course, that seemed to be different now. He blinked for a moment, as he listened to what shouldn't have been such a calm sentence. "Dude you literally just stabbed me, we're well past formal introductions." He replied, not really sure where this bravery was coming from. "But an explanation would be nice."

Oliver looked up when he heard Felicity’s words. “How can someone be out of your league?” he asked and looked at her, head tilted to the side. “If anything I’m pretty sure you would be out of their league.” A small breath left his lips, “you are a genius, to start with and just that makes you out of pretty much anyone’s league.” He smiled at her, “and you’re cute, so if there’s someone you like just tell them you like them and want to go out with them.”

“Like what?  Kicking your ass?”  Skye laughed and danced back on her footwork, but her cheeks had taken on a darker shade at Grant’s words and she was smiling.  Training with May had been so good for her.  Less…distracting.  But she couldn’t deny that something about being back on the mat with Ward felt right. 

Grant recognized Skye’s powerful side, the improvements she had made ever since he started training her. May had helped her on that and he could recognize some of May’s moves in Skye. But he also let it known in a compliment what he thought of Skye. In a way. “You need to beat me more than once to kick my ass. But you’ve done some good work. So far.”

Harry couldn’t quite explain how he’d come across Mal, but he had.  She seemed to just be weak, but all the same he picked her up and was going to carry her home.  “Where do you want me to take you?”  He asked.
