I think Morga Eirsdottir (The Arcana) and Ambessa Medarda (Arcane) would have absolutely insane toxic old lady yuri goin' on. Ambessa chastising Morga for being a failed conquer, Morga saying that at least she laid waste to her foes and critiquing Ambessa's parenting, Ambessa pointing out hers isn't any better, etc. etc. Anyway I think they would eat each other alive and enjoy it.

When you first met Morga, it wasn't hard to figure out what kind of person she is. Fierce, strong, brave. She walks into a room and demands attention. Her face paint makes her stand out in a crowd and despite all the horror stories you've heard from Lucio, and many others, you can't help but find her...beautiful.

It was late. You had to be up early for some stupid meeting thing that Lucio is demanding you be apart of before some ball he's hosting later in the day. You can't sleep though. You feel restless and you aren't sure where the feeling is coming from.

So, what does any sane person do when they can't sleep? Go eat snacks, of course.

As you're making your way through the dark halls, you freeze in your spot when you spot a shadow turning a corner. Now...is that a ghost or an actual person? An intruder? Someone out to hurt Lucio or Nadia? You aren't sure. With a deep breath, you silently charge forward to confront the person.

You find yourself in the very place you were heading to. The kitchen. The moon offers little light but thankfully, the intruder who isn't an intruder at all, lit a candle.

"Morga," you sigh in relief, your hand over your heart. She turns to look at you with widen eyes, surprised someone else is up at this hour.

"Oh," she says as she sets one of the pastries that was supposed to be for the ball down, clearing her throat. "Hello," she greets dryly, wiping her hand on her pajama bottoms. Her face is bare and her pajama set is jet black, which is unsurprising. It's odd to see her in something so...modern and plain. You never knew how flattering animal skins could be until now.

"HI! Sorry!" you greet a little too loudly. "Don't stop on my account!" you reassure. You then awkwardly laugh, "I was actually just coming for the same reason," you admit.

A ghost of a smile slides across her face at this, her hand lifting towards you to wave you over. "Come join me then. There's plenty," she says softly. You gleam as you walk over to her, picking up one of the many assortments of desserts for the party.

"Lucio would kill me if he knew I was doing this," you say with your mouth half full of pastry. She hums and shakes her head, taking a bite of some sort of custard dessert.

"Nonsense. You're untouchable when I'm around," she promises, saying it so casually that you're speechless. This isn't the person everyone was warning you about. This is soemeone kind, a mother, a friend, a leader.

"You know what? I like you," you suddenly say, stuffing a whole cookie into your mouth.

"Okay?" she replies slowly. You're guessing she doesn't get that a lot and, in general, doesn't really care about anyone's opinion.

You give a satisified nod and offer her another custard which she takes gingerly. "Thank you," she whispers before taking a big bite.
