5. Which of your fics do you wish was more successful?

If we’re going by ones I have written or worked on this year, then I’d have to say The Final Pack. 

I know why it’s not and I don’t feel bad about it at all; I’ve been writing it in a fandom that is basically dead to me, I started it soon before the source material crashed and burned, and then I abandoned it for years (because I was hurt by the source material) before deciding it was haunting me. There’s 291K words posted and it’s been like 8 years and it’s STILL not done and not even that close to done. So I GET it. But at this point I am writing it for me, and for the couple of people who actually respond when I post, and I hold it VERY dear to my heart and I wish that the conditions around it had been more conducive to its success. Alas.

10. most enjoyable swear word in your native language?

Interesting one, because I grew up being taught my native language in school rather than speaking it naturally day to day (thanks colonialism!) and teachers for some reason never got around to the ‘swear words’ part of the curriculum.

So I don’t have swear words exactly. I do have some elaborate curses which we were allowed to learn because they fell under the heading of ‘folklore’ and were thus deemed appropriate.

One I particularly like is this:  Go ndeine an diabhal dréimire de cnámh do dhroma ag piocadh úll i ngairdín Ifrinn

Roughly it translates to ‘may the devil make a ladder out of your backbones to pick apples in the garden of hell’

I'd like to recommend Take Me Home by morgaine2005! A wonderful merging of Good Omens with Greek Mythology in the aftermath of the Apocalypse that wasn't, featuring all our favorite characters and many great additions you can't help but fall in love with. I'm so very glad this fic exists! It's so lovely!
