Contemporary Christian Artist Amy Grant sued Marvel Comics over her likeness being used on the occult themed Doctor Strange, Sorcerer Supreme 15#, cover date, March 1990. The cover was illustrated by Jackson Guice. Her suit was not based on copyright, as technically the image belonged to the photographer. Instead she argued that the association with the occult themed comic would be damaging to her. There was an out of court settlement. Later issues removed her image from the covers, but numerous of the early printings were released.

Dr Strange, Rintrah, Morgana Blessing, Morbius and Brother Voodoo fights the voodoo-queen Marie Laveau in Haiti, against her vampires and Strange’s vampire-brother. Brother Voodoo brought forth an army of zombies to help them and Laveau left with the Darkhold.

Hey, I was reading an article about Stephen’s powers and they said he banished the page of a book but didn’t say which comic it was in, I was wondering if you knew what they were talking about and if you could tell me which comic it took place in?

Yes, I know exactly what you're talking about.

He did it in Sorcerer Supreme #18, when Marie LaVeau abducted both his brother Victor and Morgana Blessing. She used them as bargaining chips in exchange of one page of the Book of the Vishanti, the one containing the Montesi Formula, a spell capable of destroying all vampires on Earth, which was recited by Stephen years before when he killed Dracula and all his lot.

LaVeau wanted to ressurect the vampires because, by drinking their blood, she could have eternal life. With Victor, she would create more vampires, and so live forever. The only thing in her way was the Montesi Formula, capable of ruining her plans and leading her to death (since she was supposed to be dead by now).

Stephen, under pressured, summoned the page and almost offered it to LaVeau, but changed his mind in the last second, "sacrificing" Victor and Morgana as he banished the page off Earth.

All went well in the end but yep, he can banish objects and even people, as he has done several times (Demonicus, Kaecilius, Adrian and Hulk are some of the examples).

I don't have specific headcanons except for the good ol' "You shouldn't love me, I'm a monster x you're not a monster and I do love you" prompt. In fact, I have two different prompts. One is Mech Strike's Stephen in his angel suit (he does look an angel), whereas Victor would be the monster. It's basically Stephen trying to show Victor he's not a monster, reaching out for Victor's heart and showing the good in him.

Second is What If?Stephen and Monster Hunter!Victor trying to cope with their mistakes and how they shaped their appearances to match how they see themselves on the inside. It would require tons of healing and a process of slow burn, mutual assurance and angst, which is my signature move lmao

One day I'll write that down but I'm caught up in another interests at the moment so I'm not really writing Marvel (even though I have 303808408404 WIPs ;-;)

Now, about Morgana *ugh*

I don't usually hate characters in Stephen's lore but Morgana tests my patience. She was first introduced as a random woman who was caught up in a mystic incident when Stephen was around. She later had a major role because of her reincarnations, time travel stuff. But most importantly, she's the one who deliberately hit on Stephen WHILE CLEA WAS AROUND.

She's also the reason Clea left the first time around.

But it doesn't end here. She also DOXXED Stephen by writing a WHOLE BOOK about his personal life - without his consent. And that based on petty revenge because he didn't return her feelings.

And the icing on the cake? Seeing that Stephen rejected her, she ended up dating his brother, a vampire at that time.

Talk about issues. She's literally the worst and all her actions are just, ugh... I really dislike Morgana and I'm glad she's forgotten.

is it true that at some point in the comics that stephen has a female version of himself?

No, that's not true, at least, not in the 616-universe. He used magic once to create an illusion that he was Dracula's wife but, as I said, it was an illusion.

Not sure if this idea came from one of these pictures but the first is Morgana wearing Stephen's clothes (there's a reason for that) and the second is Clea Strange, Stephen's daughter from an alternate reality (Earth-71166).

None of them are female versions. They're entirely different characters!
