🌊 - Does this oc have a secret or repressed desire?

Val- Tbh... even way before meeting Amarie, they've kind of always wanted children. However, even in their worst years, they knew they absolutely did not have it in them to become a parent.

💝 - How much effort do they put into appearances? Do they have a favorite article of clothing?

Amarie- She puts A Lot of effort into how she looks because it's a way for her to show where she came from (the Imperial City). She deeply misses her home. Also, the laurel wreath she wears all the time reminds her of her father.

👁️‍🗨️ - Eye contact: good or bad for this oc?

Aimée: Honestly she kind of struggles with eye contact because eyes freak her out (ESPECIALLY after the Imperial City Prison with all the watcher guards). Especially ironic with her being an arcanist.

8. First time they took a risk, or the biggest risk they've ever taken

Ooohh... hmm. I think the first risk Ragnar took (in terms of the story, not his backstory) would be following his gut and investigating Runil. It was by doing that that it got itself back on its feet and out of Falkreath, eventually learning of its destiny and everything. (In my story Runil has been long dead, and Jenais was masquerading as him in order to have a nice, comfortable spot to practice necromancy. It's a whole thing)

17. First favorites - favorite color, animal, movie, etc.

Aww... I'll answer for a few. Jenais' first favorite color was yellow, and his first favorite animal a deer. Ragnar's first favorite color was blue, and his first favorite animal dogs. Mazourkh's was pink and rabbits, and Ionya's purple and wolves.

E. First time meeting the other's family

Ooh! Unfortunately, for many of my OCs, family is just... not in the picture. I suppose it kind of counts that Mazourkh met Uriel before he died? LSJFLKJ Guess it would be interesting to see Vex meet Ulfric? :0 I'm still unsure how Ionya and Ulfric's relationship will end up going, if they make up or not, but if they do make up... that'd be one interesting meeting. I think Ragnar does actually meet Aureline at some point, so that technically counts as meeting his QPP's family, even if the two aren't on good terms. Unfortunately I don't have any fun stories for this, alas SKDJFLS

💋 - Favorite "first kiss" scene you've written between two characters

✑ First time leaving their home country

I'll answer this for Wynn and Do'Shavir, as they have very different answers! So Wynnarwe left Alinor for good via pirating her own ship to get away from an arranged marriage she didn't want. For her, it was the ultimate freedom to get away from a life she knew she would've hated and find her own path, never looking back. In Do'Shavir's case, he wanted to travel and seek adventure--but he did so with a heavy heart, as he does love and cherish his family a lot. It was extremely difficult and he was homesick a lot, at first, but he persevered and writes to them whenever he can.

✑ First thing they remembered feeling ashamed of

Hmmmmmmm! I feel like answering this with my Falmer, Helthune. She doesn't remember much from . . . before, but I imagine she felt shame when she couldn't communicate with Gelebor. I mean, the first of her kind she's seen in so long who isn't twisted into, well, what they are now, and she can't even talk to him!! But with time they managed to figure it out, and now they communicate via their own sign language. Thank goodness for his endless patience and willingness to essentially adopt Hel <3

✑ First time seeing the other one sick/injured

For my girls, Vigdis is always getting fucking hurt LKNSFKGJKDFG. If she isn't covered in blood she isn't Vigdis. I want to say the first time Serana really sees Vigdis hurt isssss. Chapter XI, The Moth Priest? There's that very juicy section when Serana notices Vig's lip is bleeding, and. Well. 😏 Now . . . Serana doesn't get as hurt often, so it took some digging around for me to remember. There's a part in Chapter XVII, Darkfall, where it seems like Serana yelps in pain and it MOMENTARILY distracts Vigdis--which is detrimental BECAUSE SHE'S IN THE MIDDLE OF A FIGHT. But a reaction is a reaction all the same. These girls are gay. OH but I should say that, at first, Vigdis is very not accepting of help when it comes to injuries. Stubborn asshole. BUT SHE SLOWLY LETS SERANA IN . . . . . . SO SLOWLY . . . I'm not saying you have to read my fic to understand but [proceeds to violently foam at the mouth and collapse]

✑ First time writing character death, and how you felt about it

GASP. This is the part where I admit that I love writing DEATH. The amount of people Vigdis and Serana have murdered . . .augh. I crave it. I miss it. Man I really need to write my chapter because the death I want is, well. In this chapter. And I need to WRITE IT. Ahem. Let's see. Uhhh. Character death? Hmmm. I have . . .murdered one of two of my own characters. If I'm honest, it was euphoric. I LOVED writing their deaths. There's emotion involved and. sighs wistfully. I sound insane. I know I do. This goes for canon characters too--one which I'm about to get to . . . .fufufufu. mwhaha. mahwhaahhahahaa

✑ Do you have any favorite brainstorming techniques? How do you like to gather ideas for your WIP?

This is the part where I tell you that the shower is both my best friend and my worst enemy. I've gotten myself unstuck on chapters while washing my hair, and then am scrambling to write down everything I'd thought of after I clamber out. Sometimes though just sitting somewhere with a notebook in my lap and a pen being twirled in my hand is really helpful, or even just playing Skyrim because I've played that game for so long that it doesn't require very much concentration to play and it allows my brain to wander freely and be inspired by what I'm doing at the same time. In other words, my brainstorming techniques are just as chaotic as my actual writing techniques LKJFKGLJDFG
