Blog #118 Stuff I appreciate Mormons saying/feed me knowledge about or of.
There are more. But these are what I remember while typing.
There are douchebags. Some wards have more than others.
Boys(Elders) mature SLOWER than girls (Sisters)
Let's pray for the ward to have more People of Color in this ward. (kinda paraphrasing it.)
There are Elders who come from an Redneck town so they have a tough time here in [name of diverse ethnic city.]
Some people act like how they are raise-Wonder bread.
Some Mormons coming from Utah...still bring their Utah-ness here without knowing it!
Some Utah Mormons need to get out more. (meaning meeting new people of different colors and culture.)
They send a lot of people from Utah here to serve so they can learn. (-me: uh,it's rare that I see them changed. RARE. Not never.)
There is such thing as Utah food.
Elite Mormons get away with everything. (That's explains their behavior.)
You don't want to argue with any wealthy Mormon whether it is a good argument or bad argument. For example: When Elder Peter-Jack said he's blessed to be White.
Bishop behavior does influence the ward
Some Mormons grew up with everything, not knowing how to deal with Mormons who grew up with nothing or some things.
Our biggest problem is using "Mormon" as the banner of authority (I'm paraphrasing this.)
You don't have to be a Utah Mormon. Don't let those Utah Elders force you to become one if you don't want to. =)
[Name of city] here also have a tough time dealing with Utah Mormons, too.
