Hi there!! Im Morph, the anon that sent an ask a bunch of months ago about how i watched ExMachina because of your Nathan fics and and then did my dissertation on the movie!

I don’t think i ever got around to sort of give you and update, so it’s what i’m doing now lol

I actually got an amazing score (9.5 out of 10 yay!!) and got my bachelors! And tbh i really enjoyed doing film analysis and research papers so i’m sort of gathering all the info i need to make a decision and possibly try my best at a PhD.

So, i wanted to say thank you for the little grain you placed there for me to figure all of this out, it’s one of those silly coincidences that really makes things fall into place.

The morph 'clones' you fight of past bosses in endgame lose the paleness morphs are known for and regain some of the color to their flesh after they're defeated. I think the implication here is that they're not clones or 'true' morphs at all and are rather reanimated corpses of some kind (likely in the same way that Renault's bff was) and while the distinction might seem arbitrary it's neat that they went out of their way to make it.
