Got new inspiration for a power system.
It's going to be used in one of my next two webnovels.
The system basically goes like this.
You have sentient magical weapons known as ballads, they have specific abilities and grow stronger when they work to complete the unique goal they have (e.g. consuming the strongest blood, running the largest organisation etc.)
After 99 appear on a planet, a time scale that takes roughly 40,000 years, the next to arrive will be a saga, an even more powerful sentient object, except these devour the ballads, and gain the abilities of the ballads they devour, for instance if the saga proto morreo, devoured the ballad longinus, it would be able to summon a version of longinus, and use its abilities, while at the same time strengthening all other ballads it has consumed when it completes longinus' goal.
After a saga, the next level is V'ralken, each V'ralken manages between 200-2500 sagas, and are much stronger.
After a V'ralken, you have a Morreo, each Morreo exists within it's own universe and manage 10-40 V'ralkens.
In total ten levels exist, with the final level, A.I.P, only having one existence meeting the requirements to be classified as one.
Though just because an existence is a higher level it doesnt mean that the lower levels are weaker than them, as the former strongest saga, Hiraeth, was able to easily defeat V'ralkens when they were barely at the mid point of their level.
