Actually, I'll do it now. I dont know how many of you have ever seen The Breakquest Club but I believe The Breakquest Club is like a fair few years, maybe a decade before Oxventure, mainly bc of two characters:
First off this guy, Goodbad the Badgood was also originally designed by Bendix and Ian Higton, his player, specifically requested for him to be bigger/taller than Dob
And while Ian clarfies in the replies that Dob and Goodbad definitely aren't related or even from the same clan, it's the way he says it, almost like it's an obvious lie (it's not) that makes me wonder "what if they are?". The closest he could be is like an uncle that hasn't seen his like sibling in ages (due to being on the run from his clan that wants to kill him and the fact Dob and Suzette lived alone in the woods so maybe their parents ran away from home, too) so doesnt know they even had kids.
The other character, and the stronger link, is this teen in the top hat
See his name is Cedric Dinsdale, and he's a spoiled brat
He gets like almost forcefully converted to a like religious order that worships a god of light, Pelor, by that blonde cleric, Etain, because she needs to up conversion numbers and his other option is that tiefling, Morrigan, kills him/exposes him as a cheating fraud in fencing fights to the death. And if you'll remember, in Faire Trial it is revealed that Egbert was bullied mercilessly by a Cedric Albright who is a very rich and popular paladin, and I'd like to believe that its the exact same guy.
It would not be a stretch to say he changed his last name to avoid the scandal from his hometown and picked a fancy one that goes with the new god (of light) that he has to worship now, or that he'd still be a spoiled brat taking his anger out on other people like, in this instance, Egbert (who, I'm sorry but, is absolutely the type of person to get bullied growing up)
