Hello.
So yeah, long time, no post.
I did a quick update on my main the other day, saying that my energy has been super low and that I need to work out how to be a better chronically ill witch instead of wanting to be a full-on witch so that I can actually BE some kind of active, so I’m kinda trying to work on that.
Still feeling super drawn the The Morrigan. The Morrigan and Manannan mac Lir. I feel like my other two, Cerridwen and Cernunnos, have been giving me signs that I’ve been with them long enough and they want me to explore other places now. The plethora of deer bones I’ve found feels like a “Here, I appreciate what you’ve done with me, now go!” from Cernunnos, and the absolute thriving state of my chickens feels like a devotion to and blessing from Cerridwen. A good little everyday devotion that doesn’t cost me too much in fatigue and pain points.
I’ve been trying to find a new pendant since my old pentacle broke a few months ago, and while I was cruising etsy yesterday I found something that just hit the full on YES button - an old Irish half-crown. An Irish coin with a horse on it, how perfect for The Morrigan?! Then when I had a look on eBay for chains, I came across a stainless steel ball chain that had a black feather charm on it, so that’s double duty.
In between everything else I’m trying to get done at the moment, I’m going to get my altars set up and organised again, and set some time aside each day to work out how to connect with The Morrigan. I’m thinking a small offering to The Morrigan Tree each week is a low energy way to get the ball rolling, plus it gets me out of the house and into nature again, which I also need to do. But it’s winter here and with aches and pains and fatigue, even short sorties into the outdoors get put off very easily. But if I take the dogs with me, and a bag to collect kindling, it’s a good outing all around. As long as I don’t let the dogs eat the offering...
