“hey, what’s the screaming around here? this is a library, i hope you know...can you keep at least a little bit quiet?”
"I have ten minutes, so whatever you need to say please make it quick.”
‘ in case you were wondering how i PRODUCTIVELY spent my day at work, i discovered that it takes three hundred and sixty-four licks to get to the center of a tootsie pop---- you’re welcome, science. ’
“she’s mine! sorry, so sorry. just- she got away from me. i didn’t sic her on you or anythin’.” bennett comes to a screeching halt in front of this somebody, breathing hard. that’ll happen after chasing an angry cat on foot for two blocks. bennett looks down at his defiant fluffball, who is winding herself between this innocent bystander's legs and begging them with short meows to rescue her from her owner. he looks back up with a sheepish shrug, a grimace tugging at his lips. "turns out cats don't really like being walked on a lead. who knew, eh?"
Grabbing the last of her boxes out of the moving truck, Wynter smiled as she looked upon her new home. It was small and quaint, but it was hers. As she stepped out from behind the truck, she ran into something, nearly causing her to drop the box. “Oh, God! Sorry about that. Are you alright?”
“You, me, and all eight Harry Potter movies. Let’s go.”
Today was Nick’s first good day since he’d returned to Morris. Good day meaning he felt well enough to leave the house and fake a few social interactions for the sake of not becoming a hermit. He hadn’t told anyone he was coming back -- not even his sister -- he’d just rented an apartment and moved in quietly. Nick’s walk slowed as he took in the bright, loud mess before him. “Of course, my first week back and town and there’s a carnival,” he mumbled, mostly to himself. "Why is this town so weird?"
“I mean, don’t get me wrong. I love writing but everyday I keep reading about how new planets are discovered and all I can think is I could be one of the first person to explore those planets if I had prioritized my life better. I mean, imagine going to a different planet! It would be amazing. Especially if there was other life there.” They said as they looked at the other person they were conversing with. “I’m pretty sure I just got completely off topic though. Didn’t I? That happens a lot.”
