itâs not like theyâre total strangers or mortal enemies or anything. in fact, theyâre the complete opposite. or, they used to be. bennett follows wynter inside and, even though theyâre not enemies or strangers, heâs still apprehensive with every step he takes. he side-steps boxes and knick-knacks to stand in the doorway of the kitchen, unsure where to go or what to say. âcoffee,â he says at first, then realizes theyâre probably gonnaâ have some deep discussion, and amends with âon second thought, a beer is good.â
Wyn nodded as she grabbed him a beer from the fridge. âSo, things have been good for you?â She asked him innocently, handing him over a beer. It had been so long since they had seen each other, they had so much to talk about. It was weird though, Wynter used to love this boy but now, it was like they were completely different people.Â
