I'm trying to give Morrowind another shot. So far, I'm up to the mages guild quests. I remember attempting to play this game back when I was 15, which was when I first bought it. Mainly because I heard that this game had a dlc that was entirely about werewolves and I really wanted to play that since the Skyrim werewolf quest line with the companions I felt was lackluster.
I remember getting frustrated because there was no quest markers, and I kept trying to rush toward the dlc stuff when it was too high level for me and I kept dying. I did end up completing the dlc through console command cheats to make myself more powerful.
However, this time I won't be doing that. I will play as intended. No console commands.
I've found that if I read the directions the NPCs give me, I can find the spots they're talking about. It just takes longer than if I had a quest marker.
Also, I chose a weapon that my character is proficient at right now, so at least I have more of a fighting chance lol.
