My babaaaayyyyy
Hey yall⦠i did artsā¦. I turned grey into the alien species my boyfriend made š«¶š«¶
Eat up heathens, thereās his actual ref sheet coming up soon
(The man with grey doing pottery and blue alien are the same guy, his name is Dewey and heās my boyfriends creation š«¶ā¼ļø)
ALSO THE SKELETON AND THE YELLOW ALIEN ARE THE SAME DUDE IN DIFFERENT AUās WE THOUGHT OF I SWEAR
Yall ever seen a punk skeleton? No? Well I gotta change that
Smacks this in your face
Ever seen a punk skeleton with a duck on his head? Well look no furtherš¬š
Yes I know the ref sheet is still a WIP but shush let meeeeeee be lazy
LORE ON MY BOY GREY
Okay Iāve determined that grey, before he fell underground (a whole other section of his story šļø) was a MĆ©tis child with a father from the meskwaki tribe
āThe Meskwaki people, also known as the Fox Indians or simply the Fox, are an Algonquian-speaking Native American tribe historically located in the Great Lakes region and along the St. Lawrence Riverā
I wanted grey to have a piece of jewelry from his roots before he was turned into a monster and I found that the meskwaki tribe wore a lot of bear claws with otter pelts as a symbol of strength and to honour the bear, āBears are deeply revered in Meskwaki culture, representing strength, power, and a link to the earthā
The beadwork also has symbolism
Red: strength, courage, bravery, love, life
Green: healing and endurance
White: purity, peace and spirituality
Iām still doing some research on it, trying to get it as accurate as possible š¤ so some details may change or shift as I learn more
Usually the meskwaki have these very thick bear claw necklaces from what Iāve seen through my searches but I wanted grey to have a light necklace, more personalized and made by his father
If you have any questions or information about this that you know more about than me, donāt be afraid to send an ask š«¶!!!
Grey having a rough timeā¦.
Sketch I decided to do and Iām kinda happy with it, although there is a lot going on and Iām struggling to figure out a way to make it less overwhelming but still have all the elements I wanna addš¤
Iām learning! Slowly but surely
*with a heavy heart, they stare on at the CORE.
*one of theirs gone, a life cut short.
*the eldest lets his ashes blow from his fingers.
*the middle child is left to wonder, guilt is left and lingers.
*thereās no turning back now, an evil woman ridden.
*at the cost of the youngest, they will no longer stay hidden.
*are they now truly free?
