busy day for Morterra!
Little does she know, soon as he's dazed there's a broken boombox with his name on it.

Morterra ask! Do you have a favourite bit of worldbuilding that you haven't or probably won't be able to fit in the show?
THE WEAVE
(it may somehow come up idk)
Basically the idea of a magical weave is very literal. The weft is the magic of the planet itself, which comes from the exponite ore in the ground, which is leeched by fungi, and is what gives power to wizards, bard, those types of people. The warp is divine magic, cleric and paladin types.
As a result people with wild magic are sometimes referred to derogatorily as snarls, but also as shuttles, since some people think wild magic is a necessary part of holding the weave together
which country has the most military might? is it currently at war with any of its neighbours? if no, why not?
Definitely the halflings. They’ve taken over the entire continent and driven the more technically-minded gnomes largely underground (physically and metaphorically) by imposing their nature-centric religion on them. They aren’t currently at war with anyone else but that’s likely to change under the new Emperor

You may be wondering about the voice introducing the most recent episode
It was, of course, that well-known writer of fantastical tales, Hands Crispin Undersun.
Very little is known about Hands. Where he got his ideas, no-one is sure, for although he claims they take place on the Obside, the things he imagines - such as horseless carriages - are far too bizzare to exist even on the underside of the world. It has been suggested by some scholars that he simply uses it to mean "elsewhere".
Despite this, his tales have become known throughout the world, and his way of opening stories, "when things were not as they are now", and variants on it has become standard
