But of a silly question, but has each alter their own ‘birthday’? If so, does it come with the individual (sorry if it’s not the right term) or would it be the day when they first manifested (again, sorry if it’s not the right word)? Thank you!

Some of us do, some of us don’t.

Time in general is a real struggle as a system and honest to goodness I am not sure I’m able to pinpoint a day or time anyone “manifested”

Birthdays and names were something you came with or you didn’t. Names were chosen if not inherent just due to necessity but birthdays aren’t really a necessary thing.

We don’t go out of the way to celebrate birthdays in general just due to trauma but sometimes we’ll just plan little treatos around the time if an alter feels strongly enough about their birthday.

Great question anon! I’m sure other systems have different philosophies or experiences so I would greatly encourage you to ask other systems to get a broader perspective.

Genuinely it's awesome finding there are systems for whom the focus is on healing and integration! I gave up talking to other systems because I felt like such an outsider.

I wish the community was more focused on healing and integration than syscourse or the aesthetic but alas.

are you diagnosed with DID?

Yessir

I’m not stupid enough to post physical proof and dox myself haha but yes we have been diagnosed and have been in treatment for around four years now

Also, generally it is considered rude to ask people if they are diagnosed with something, just fyi. We aren’t bothered but just know some people may be.

Tuplas are racist at worst and culture appropriation at best. No thank you not touching that with a 100ft pole

I believe in demons. I don’t know much about your spelled version or anything to comment.

If you’re asking whether I think CDDs are instances of demon possession I would say no or at least that that is the very very very last thing to explore as CDDs have a lot of overlap with other disorders as well as physical disorders such as epilepsy.

freesia - are you still friends with the person you considered your best friend two years ago?

I am actually! She has graduated nursing school and is the smartest most observant and loyal person I know!

hydrangea - proudest moment?

Getting a reverse first try, it’s a diving technique where you jump forwards facing off the board, and do a backflip. They’re super scary but I was so proud to get it first try! I hardly ever get anything first 100 tries, so I’m proud of myself.
