So many good things were shared last night but the highlights were: How to fight your failures: 1.) let Jesus in 2.) let people in 3.) surround yourself with people who will build you up The past and the future are at war for your soul in the present. Find freedom in the fight you're in. When you surround yourself with the right people, the target on your back gets smaller and smaller. Last night was so good and moving. It continued the fire that God has already set in my soul.

My wife and I were brought together 6 years ago thanks to this beautiful community of faith in Los Angeles called @mosaic founded by Kim and Erwin McManus over 25 years ago . Like it's name ever since we met and meshed as multiple pieces of glass would mend into each other to form a mosaic there has been almost an unexplainable beauty surrounding our lives. Last year when we came to Miami and as we shot a selfie a boat went by in the background with the letters "MSC" (swipe left for photos) which is Mosaic abbreviated or the actual name of the band at our church. This year when we pulled out of the beach and as we looked up we saw this new building... Irony, I think not. The same way our community keeps showing up in our lives physically and spiritually there is a place for you wherever you are in life to experience #faith, #love and #hope if you give it a chance. @Mosaic meets in South Pasadena, Santa Monica / Venice area, Mexico City, Orange County and Hollywood all day or you can stream at mosaic.org . Grace will add water to dust and sculpt a work of art from it... Grace forgives the un-forgivable and let's you know there is always a second chance... Grace builds futures, it does not destroy them... Grace is one of the most valuable commodities in existence, yet it can not be stolen, it is only free to give away... Grace will add heat to broken glass and mend its sharp edges together forming a beautiful mosaic, so while the pieces hold on to each other it no longer cuts... I woke up this morning overwhelmed by her... This post is not about me it's about WE, and the thank you that I owe so many people I would have to spend my rest of my life trying to thank... and I will. When my remnants were excavated I didn't see what was to be built with them on my property, but I also had under estimated the power of the Creator, His tools, and His team that was working on the project... I stand before you not independently as a brick could, but rather interdependently as every grain of sand, every once of compound, and every drop of water would join bricks on every side of me as they begin to adhere, solidify, and form what ever #GodsPlan may be... One thing I'll guarantee whatever WE build without God can be torn down, but what WE are building with Him will never go away... Because the Church is built on people who stay...
