Simply Scripture

"and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.”                                                                                             -Romans 8:30

I am chosen by God and known by God. Though I may fall, repeatedly, I am called by God and even when I don’t feel worthy I will glorify Him knowing He still has a plan for me. So here’s to persevering through the great times and the more than terrible times.

“And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.”

When we yield our flesh and its desires over to God, He will not only bring Spiritual life but he also re-equips our mortal bodies! How amazing is that? We all know of the struggle to let go of fleshly desires yet we can take heart knowing that God is quickening our mortal bodies so that through Him we can conquer even the enemies temptation of the flesh.
