I miss going on walks with Maa and Abba! This picture was taken on one of our morning walks. World was shut down because of the pandemic and I was back from Kolkata. It must have been the beginning of monsoon and the weather was turning pleasant. Just looking at this picture reminds me of the fresh morning fog and the woody-watery smell of the trees. And how can I not mention the leeches, my biggest phobia.

Planting environment by their hands

Monsoon is the best time of the year to plant new trees and help the environment get its lush green once again. Students of SOS, Yavatmal have been flag bearers of saving environment by conducting number of activities the whole year. The Science & Social Sci. Dept. of SOS, Yavatmal came up with an amazing idea of Seed bank and Seed Ball(Bomb) to celebrate the Tree Plantation Week. On 21st July, students made seed bombs by encircling seeds in the soil turning them into ball like shapes and then throwing them into the nature that will eventually get planted and flourish into a new beginning in the form of a plant.
