Moss experiment is doing exceptionally well.
Bottom picture shows how the moss actually spends most of its time. I take the cover off to get pictures and also every day or so to allow everything to breathe, sometimes get a little brighter light, rearrange the wood, mist the moss, add water to the bottom or take it out, etc.
What I have found has been working very well is allowing the wood to sit in 1/2' to 1' of water, alternating with no water but daily misting instead. Trying to mimic what conditions might be best for moss to grow on wood naturally.
Look at that moss creep!
