4 - movie of the year? I don't. think I watched any new films this year. I watched scream for the first time last night, that was pretty good.
14 - favourite book you read this year? NONA NONA NONA NONA NONA NONA NONA. which it turns out came out last year ? also the Oleander Sword by Tasha Suri. good book. dykey. desi. dramatic. OH AND THE SPIRIT BEARS ITS TEETH. transgender Victorian gothic horror about asylums and ghosts, 9.7/10 (-0.3 because it's not incestuous enough for my silly gothic tastes. oh well)

I have 10 years of classical vocal training 👎 but I have not used it in a long time. I have not performed in a minute either but I do miss it! I do not miss the associated anxiety and nonsense etc.

2. Album of the year?
Tigers Blood by Waxahatchee without a shadow of a doubt. Rarely have I had an album immediately capture me like this one did back in March, and it's been a wonderful companion throughout the rest of the year. "Right Back To It" is a lot of people's favorite track (a very justified choice), but I myself am partial to the three song-run that closes out the album — "365," "The Wolves," and "Tigers Blood," which was very nearly my most listened-to song of the year. Just a phenomenal album back to front.

It literally was. I didn't say anything when the post in question was going around bc it seemed in bad taste but I've never felt more vindicated. my tolerance for weird people on the internet was way too high in 2017 but thankfully I got better!

Hehe yeah, it was a Naruto ship (surprise)
Naruto was my main fandom back then, and there were these two characters that I shipped (Sai and Yamato), but one was 17 and the other 26. When I started shipping them I was 21 (so right in between their ages) and admittedly didn't think much of it, but as I got older I very much preferred drawing and writing about their future, post canon selves. And that was when I was put on a block list :3
