The Sound of Blank Paper

Blank paper,

Spurred on by the moment,

Pencil in hand,

To erase the empty blanket,

And pull from,

The dark slow-beating wet,

That is creativity,

The muffled chatter of banquets,

Unattended by mice,

Who huddle in deep pockets,

Beneath floorboards,

And long unopened caskets.
