Because nothing says “celebrating the season of goodwill that’s entirely based on a story about desperate homeless people having to seek cover in an animal shelter” quite like getting so outraged at the idea of vulnerable people - and their pets - being helped that you reach for your red pen to write to a paper and vent about it.
