She has loads of toys but the drawstring on my pants is the coolest thing she's ever seen.
got potg with Lúcio today. hung out on the edge of route 66 and knocked like 3 people off at once. it was a total accident lmao
My love of all things miniature taking effect.
My favourite part of the build so far. As I mentioned earlier, I'm using balsa wood for the frames. I didn't like the idea of using thick cardboard or foam core to build the walls, it didn't seem genuine, so I designed and pre built the panel walls exactly to specifications (as we do every day at the factory I work in). Using my lunchtimes at work, I input the walls into their program so it gave me correct door width, lintel sizes and stud spacing’s. The icy pole sticks are a much stronger timber than the balsa wood so I was using them wherever it specified a F17 stud for an opening (they were also really good for lintels)
Forgot to mention, each one of those studs is half the width of the balsa I brought, although I now have double the balsa wood I thought I did (money saving$$), I had to cut every single one down the centre length ways to get the right width.
Still enjoying myself.

I live for thunderstorms
So my weekend has been great..
Spent it entirely with Rosie and Euan. Had so much fun. Started with a really nice walk through the woods. Had a look around a cave too. The next day I went to the bag pack for the sailing club. After that I invited a friend up to bake a cake with me. We then joined Rosie & Euan for a really good game if badminton. After the game we came back up to the house. Myself and Rosie had a very good evening consisting of onesies, films and wine. :) Today, Euan returned to the house and we decided to go to Ayr. It was a great day. Went shopping and got some really nice heels. Followed by a trip to the cinema. Ate so much popcorn.. :P We then went bowling, where I failed miserably.. Finished the day with a great dinner. Tomorrows plan is a bike ride. Looking forward to it :)

Questions from moriatium-formula:
1. If you could have tea with anyone and have the opportunity to have a conversation with them, who would it be?
I would have to say the author Terry Brooks.
2. Following the first question, what would you want to talk about with this person?
I would love to pick his brain on the way he went about creating the Shannara world. It has such a long complicated history to it. I want to know what drove him and inspired him to create such a fantastical place.
3. Your favorite book?
Oh gosh, that's almost impossible to answer. I have so many and I go through different reading moods, so what could be my favorite now may change later. Umm, I'd say my classical favorites would have to be Jane Eyre and all of the Sherlock Holmes stories; those are constant and never change. But that's just the classical section. I suppose at the moment my main favorite book would be His Majesty's Dragon by Naomi Novik.
4. What is the last thing you usually think about before going to sleep?
Hmm, well, I have the unusual habit of starting a dream while I'm awake and letting it continue while I'm asleep. Doesn't always work, but I enjoy the process of coming up with a good dream, whether it will be on the streets of London with Sherlock and John (those are actually quite dark dreams that entail a lot of mystery and murder; no mary sues) or being an elf in the Skyrim world or such. I refuse to let worries of the week come to mind. I always repress those before going to bed. If I didn't, I'd never get any sleep.
5. What are the things you hold on to when you’re feeling down?
This is a tough question. I don't think Idohave anything to hold on to. I suppose it would be my writing, hiking, or horses. I have many a journal lying about that I keep for down days, and working with my horse or taking a long jaunt through the woods usually keeps my spirits up.
6. You have just been granted one wish. What is it?
A 1000 acres of land in the Oregon wilderness. I love it so much out there. The misty woods and cliffs of on the Pacific. It's so different from my sunny home here in Florida.
7. What superpower would you like to have?
I would love to be able to read minds. Telepathy for me all the way.
8. Name one thing special about you.
Ha, I don't know if I want to answer this one. I don't think there really is anything that special about me. I guess I could say that I have the uncanny ability to hide my Southern accent. I have people come up to me always asking where I'm from because the say I have no accent. Even some of my family members say they wouldn't have guessed I'm a native Floridian.
9. What makes you weak in the knees?
A look. Just one intense look and I'm jello. Also, a very tender touch, like the tip of his fingers just brushing over your cheek and neck.
10. Do you trust people easily?
Hmm, no I don't. It's probably why I don't have that many friends. Though the ones I do have are very close and I could trust them with anything.
11. If you could be anyone else right now, for a day, (still alive or dead), who would you chose to be?
My great-great grandmother Alford. She was an Irish immigrant that came to America. Some the things I hear about her--her struggles, triumphs--make me want to go back in time and step in to her shoes. It would probably be a horrible culture shock but to be able to live like she did for a day? It would be amazing.

My questions:
If you could live in one of the most isolated places in the world, where would it be?
If you had suddenly obtained a dragon that was bound to you, what would you do with it?
Horseback riding or walking?
If you could accompany anyone in the world (alive or dead) for a year, who would it be?
For the question above, why would you chose this person?
If you were stuck in a library during a blizzard and you had no heating, what books would you burn first?
If you could only have one episode to watch for all eternity from the fandom you love the most, which one would it be?
If you had to chose between a sword and a gun, which would you choose?
Marvel or DC?
If you had the chance to name your own planet, what would it be?
If you had all the resources in the world at your disposal.....what Halloween costume would you make or have created?
This was actually quite fun. ^.^
