I started to think that she might be deaf as she hasn't reacted to any sounds at all since bringing her home and her vet (though not an expert) agrees with me that she doesn't seem to be ignoring me. She responds well to hand commands, so I've been training entirely with those, and I'm so proud of her for how quick she's picked them up! She's a smart little cowpoke!

If anyone has any tips, tricks, or resources for training a deaf dog, feel free to let me know!
