If I were able to see in infrared, would I be able to read a book/note/see a drawing etc.
You would, yes! You’d probably see new colors, but the old colors would still be there. That means that the book/note/drawing might be distorted, but would still be there.
Think it like this: if I’m colorblind I can make a drawing and you’d still see it. I just would see less colors than you. So maybe I confused some colors and you see some spots that I didn’t intend to be there, but the overall shapes and colors are there.
Now, I can see all colors but you can see all of them + infrared. Pretty much the same thing.
